Not a whole lot of intro this week, I just want to start with all the stuff you guys are posting about this week

Windmill Gundam!

Rumors earlier this week about G Gundam being the next in the Gundam series to be brought over spawned a lot of discussion this week. The rumor is now confirmed that it will be the next Gundam series over here. Now the biggest fears are what will happen to the series with a DVD release, as there is no R2 DVD release of G Gundam right now.

Naked Elves!

Feedback about Disc 1 of Those Who Hunt Elves has started to show up in the forum. I checked out this show last night, and I really enjoyed it. It's a unique, fun show. While it seems to be an overall solid disc, there are a couple subtitle spelling errors, and one user reported that the music and sound effects seem to run slightly ahead of the video. More information as it comes on this one. [ original thread ]

This One should be better than a certain movie...

A thread that was posted late today had information on the long-rumored Matrix anime. Since wolve seems to be busy with his Xbox and hasn't locked this thread yet, there's been some humorous jokes and really bad puns shared so far. There's some interesting talent working on the various different projects this involves. There's more than I would care to post here, so I would encourage you to check out the [ original thread ]

Ranma 1/2 Digital Dojo Boxset initial impressions

Rod Su, once again demonstrating his amazing ability to get discs before everyone else, posted his impressions of the new Ranma boxset in the forums this week. The discs don't sound like they are showcases of DVD technology, but don't sound like they have any glaring problems either. [ original thread ]

Wow, I mentioned that a while ago

For those of us who complained about the missing eyecatches from Cardcaptor Sakura, we've finally seen results. The Tomoyo eyecatch shows up on disc 6.

Excel Saga dub cast

ADV's guessing game of the Excel Saga has been going for about half a week, but it's been a very active thread. Rob Saunders has compiled a list of the properly guessed roles and actors so far. If you'd like to check it out, take a look at this thread.

Fun Forum Facts

Number of months the AX Pioneer Panel report has been dead (only to be resurrected recently): 4 months

Quote of the week: Didnt ADV have to build a new studio just to handle Excel Saga? -oglin72

Well, that's it for this week. Tried to add a bit more humor to the column this week, and I think it worked out. You guys gave me some good material to use this week, and I was on the floor laughing at most comments. More importantly, there was less complaining this week! As far as next week goes... Look for a Thanksgiving Special of some sort

Have a happy Thanksgiving, minna!
