Magical ADV Website Abenobashi
The latest in an-ever growing line of series-specific sites from ADV has gone up this past week, this time for their upcoming release of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. The usual character bios, release info, artwork, wallpapers, internet avatars, trailer, and more are present, although this time around there’s no omake to be had. Oh well. So go take a look, and realize a little bit more clearly why it is that you must buy this show.

Looking for ADV discs…
ADV’s December releases have, thus far, been largely difficult for people to find. DV-Depot’s George Paquette suggests that the delays and short supplies may be caused by the fact that Disney and ADV use the same replicator, and that a glut of Disney titles has thusly caused a delay for many of ADV’s. Couple that with possible shipping delays due to a larger-than-normal volume because of the holidays, and you end up with some titles that just aren’t quite where they need to be on time. But they do exist, so it’s all about patience now.

The End of RahXephon
Despite the disc being yet another of ADV’s that’s been hard to find, some lucky fans have managed to snag themselves a copy of the final volume of RahXephon. Is it good? Well, if you’ve seen it, then you know one way or the other. If you haven’t, then there’s a nice, spoiler-filled thread wherein you can find some details. Now we begin speculating as to the eventual release date for the movie, which is one o’ them recap movie deals with a significant amount of added footage and a slightly altered story.

R1 Bits & Pieces
Where are Giant Robo and Gunbuster? Who knows. How much is the limited edition Lain lunchbox set now worth? Far too much. Did inserts come with the first two volumes of Neo Ranga? Nope. What happened to Geneon’s weekly PDFs? Well, here’s a bunch. And did anyone else pick up My Sexual Harrassment yet? Maybe, but some might not want to admit to it…

Leiji Matsumoto´s Wakusei Robo Danguard A is coming with a brand new master. Cat's Eye follows a trio of female thiefs who steal art. And "shynra" has posted up the details of what Daft Punk's UK LE DVD comes with.

Azumanga Daioh Final Cast
Janice has posted up ADV's final Azumanga Diaoh cast list. It includes Jessica Boone as Chiyo-chan, Kira Vincent-Davis as Osaka, Christine Auten as Sakaki, the comedic friends Tomo & Koyomi played by Mandy Clark & Nancy Novotny, Andy McAvin as the odd teacher Kimura, and the pair of teaching rivals Yukari & Nyamo are voiced by Luci Christian & Monica Rial.

Fans Take On...
And here's a new feature for the English Track! Every month, your two friendly ET moderators will pick a particular voice actor to be spotlighted as the AoD VA of the Month. An anchored thread in the ET will be devoted to all sorts of discussion about that VA: your favorite roles of theirs, favorite lines... favorite foods, even! Heck, why not? And maybe even that particular VA will be around to offer up some words of wisdom or mischief. And, at the end of the month, an article will be written up to compile your thoughts. The ever-popular Monica Rial has agreed to be the first victi... err, nominee, so go check it out!

Recommendations Rundown
“GanChan,” in a bit of a sadistic mood, considers titles that would really run the minds of anime newbies through a blender. “Hikari no Tenshi” asks for recommendations for what turns out to be a rather difficult sort of item to come up with: really scary horror anime. “Njr Scrawl” is looking for a few discs to give as gifts this Christmas that really take advantage of a good home theater setup. And, your friendly Recommendations mod, “asagiri2040,” is trying to decide whether or not Zeta Gundam will be a worthwhile show to purchase. Appleseed - the upcoming new movie
A few details have come out on the new Appleseed movie in development. Shirow Masamune's Appleseed has been animated before as an OVA but the newest version will be completely CG with Aramaki Shinji directing.

Midori no Hibi anime in 2004
The shounen romance manga Midori no Hibi will be animated for the Spring flock of new titles. What's it about? Umm.. a boy.. and a girl.. who just happens to be attached to his right hand.. Heck, even the photo of these two seems as odd as it sounds.

Battlestar Galactica
The revamped Battlestar Galactica series has made its way to the Sci-Fi Channel but reviews have been mixed. Some like it, some hate it, and some probably are too young to remember the original series. ;-) But anyway you look at it, the people are talking about it more than the Average Joe. =)

Sega sues over Simpsons video game
In a bit of a surprise, Sega has filed a lawsuit against EA for their Simpsons Road Rage title. Refered to as a "deliberately copy and imitate" of their Crazy Taxi series, Sega has pulled out their US patent on the type of game Crazy Taxi was. Of course, this is about a game which is now two years old.
