While a few people had gotten a copy of this disc a bit early, discussion hit its peak just about a week ago when more people
had been able to see it. Opinions are rather polarized on the ending, but love it or hate it, that’s how it is. The thread

With the DVD pushed back with several retailers, S-Man has put together a small review of Mao-chan 2 which he recieved fairly
recently. Mao-chan, Misora-chan, and Silvia-chan do battle with those eVil alien forces once more but can three cute girls
really win over the hearts of Japan against equally cute aliens? Will poor Kagome ever get the Chief of Staff to look her
way? Can Chinami & Yuriko actually defeat a group of grade schoolers!? Stay tuned! Same Mao-chan time, same Mao-chan channel.

Recommendations Rundown
A bit of a slow week because of the holidays, but there are still some recommendations needs! “SpaceButler” is looking for
a few good anime movies (ones that don’t have a series attached to them in some form), and is also wondering about Nadia and
Voices of a Distant Star. Thanks to a recommendation request by “untoldsorrow,” we’ve got a nice recommendation thread for
Princess Nine if you’re thinking about the upcoming perfect collection. And new user “Lav2k4” is interested in starting a
series with a vol.1 + box combo. Face, you don’t be afraid!

As previously mentioned, Shirow Masamune's Appleseed has a new movie coming for 2004. The website has now been revamped since
the inital mention with some background material (in Japanese) about the movie and a Windows Media Player version of the
trailer.

Burn-Up Scramble Cast Update
Speaking of updates, "ArseneLupinIII" noticed that two more characters have been added to the official AIC webpage. First is
the addition & picture of the Warriors commander "Uooriaazu Taichou". The other update is the addition of the character
design for Tamagawa Matsuri who will be played by Tanaka Rie (Chii, Mitsuki Sanada).

Aliens vs Predator set visit
Movie website CHUD.com got a chance to hit the AvP set and ask some questions. Part 1 talks with writer/director Paul
Anderson. Part 2 talks with Lance Henriksen whose "Charles Weyland" in AvP but should be more familiar to Alien fans as
the cyborg Bishop. And part 3 sits down with the FX duo of Alec Gillis & Tom Woodruff.
