    ADV, new and upcoming shows..
ADV has been a rather popular subject on the forums this week. Covering anything from the promotional trailer work for two new series, Happy Lesson which is in the new NTUSA issue, and the usual headcase which is the disc count. Well, at least we seem to be ADV Box thread-free this week. ;-)

  • Ikkitousen R2 Box
"wrex" recently picked up the 2nd installment of Ikkitousen in Japan. With a cover sporting Ryoumo in her trademark outfit (and not), you would imagine that's the only happiness which can be found in this release. Nope, it also comes with the first box to hold 4 DVDs. "wrex" has been nice enough to provide pictures of everything to make you drool.

  • Missing Najica Dialogue?
Originally mentioned by Rod Su in September, the 2nd volume of ADV's Najica is missing two sections of dialogue during episode 7's dub. This happens when Najica is talking with Rena on the phone. The DVD and recent The Anime Network airing both only feature Najica's side of the conversation while the original Japanese included Rena's replies. Since the original posting, "JeffDM" has noticed some more spots of possible missing dub dialogue in the 8th episode. In late November, dlw said he would check into the original episode 7 problem but no answer has come yet.

  • The end of the year is finally here. Everyone go out and have some fun tonight. Good luck to Flood with his knee surgery. Try not to goose the nurses too much. ;-)

When not stopping trouble (or starting it) on the AoD Forums, S-Man can be found working on the database project at Crystal Acids and asagiri2040 can be found not updating his Rising Sun Alternative website. Anyone else notice that Best Buy is suddenly flush with quite a few copies of the live action movie "City Hunter" based on the manga and starring Jackie Chan for only $9.99? 5.1 Cantonese & English, can you say yes?
